Maxime (1999) is the first player we have personally discovered in France. Actually we went there to see another player and Maxime was playing on the opponent’s side with Montpellier HSC, but he immediately caught our attention with his presence, physique, mature and hard (non Dutch) way of defending. We found a way to get in touch with him through our French scout and arranged a trial for him at PSV. After a week we were happy to hear that PSV saw the same qualities in him as we did and they decided to give Maxime a spot in the flagship of their academy, the u19’s.
You would think it is not easy for a 17 year old to, not only leave your parental home, but leave it for another country where you don’t speak the language and has a completely different culture. However, Maxime’s very sociable and open character in addition to his desire and work-ethic to become a professional football player helped him to adapt to his new surroundings quite smoothly.
After having shown his qualities and convincing PSV of his abilities in only one season, they had seen enough and decided to offer Maxime a contract. The start of his adventure away from home chasing his dreams!

Joel Thode is a big and strong defender, which he combines with speed and explosiveness. Preferably he plays as a central defender or right back. Joel started out playing football at a small local club close to his home in Hoofddorp. He soon began to distinguish himself from his teammates and became noticed by several professional clubs. However, back then, Heerenveen was the most decisive and approached him to come play for their youth academy.
Joining Heerenveen was a big step for Joel, being only 13 years old, he had to leave his parental home and move to the other side of the country. Nevertheless, Joel can be characterised by his strong will to succeed, so he went. In Heerenveen he took the next steps in his development as a footballer.
After only two seasons at SC Heerenveen he had developed so much, that in the summer of 2017 Vitesse decided to pay Heerenveen a transfer fee and offer him a contract to join their youth academy. Currently playing at Vitesse, Joel is working hard everyday and keeps chasing his dreams of becoming a professional football player in which we all believe.
Di Livio began playing football at an amateur club in Rotterdam when he was only 4 years old. He was crying every weekend because he was too young to play games and could only train during the week, therefore his dad decided to form a team so he could also participate in competition. That’s when you could already see he is a real winner and it didn’t take long for professional clubs to notice that too. Sparta was the first team to add him to their youth academy, until after only one year Feyenoord saw his talent and convinced him to join them.
For different reasons that didn’t work out and Di Livio and his parents decided to go back to a top amateur club. Despite this step back, Di Livio kept showcasing a high level of play and it did not take long for another professional club to see his talent, that turned out to be Heerenveen. At Heerenveen he is one of the biggest talents playing in the academy.
Di Livio is a very skilled and creative player who prefers to play as a number 10, but he is multi-functional and can also play as a no 8, 11 and 7. What we think makes Di Livio special, is that he combines his technical ability and creativity with an unbelievable work ethic and will to win. We believe that especially these last two qualities will take him very far.

Kevin started at a small amateur club in Spijkenisse, a town close to Rotterdam. It soon became clear that Kevin was very talented, but he was very small, so even though they saw his talent clubs were a bit hesitant at first. That only formed his mentality even more and made him a fighter who refused to give up. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger is a saying that definitely apply’s to Kevin.
This mentality combined with his technical abilities and vision eventually convinced a number of clubs that even though he was’t big and powerful, he was still able to compensate it with mentality and skills. There were numerous clubs interested, but because some of them waited too long or still were a bit hesitant and Kevin had a very good feeling with Brabant United he chose to join their youth academy. The past years Kevin has developed into their biggest talent and has joined the first team and has joined the first team of FC Den Bosch from Januari 2017. A perfect example of where sheer willpower and mentality can take you!
Million is a player that has everything, and can be typed as an all-round athletic midfielder. He is skilful, has a good left foot and is, due to his vision, a valuable asset for any attack. Besides, his strong build and aggressive play contribute to his overall defensive skills. Million is still young but already very professional and is consciously working on his body to prepare himself for a future as a professional footballer. If he keeps investing in his stamina, power and speed he will be an ideal box to box player.
In January 2018, right after his 16th birthday, Vitesse offered Million a contract, since he is one of their biggest youth prospects. There were a few other clubs which were hoping to sign him, but after careful consideration between SeiSei, Million and his family, Million decided to sign with Vitesse, as he wants to stay loyal and has a good feeling with the club. Now he can focus on what he loves the most and does best, playing football.
Cain is the type of player that no one likes to play against. He is very good defensively in one-on-one situations, but also has the technical ability and vision to execute well when in possession of the ball. Cain is a versatile player and can play various midfield and attacking positions. He and his coach are still looking for the position that suits his qualities best, but we think Cain can be a very good allround midfielder. We’ll see where he will end up, but whatever position it will be it’s sure that Cain can have a massive impact within his team being the type of player he is.
